NoCap Deposits: Privacy Policy

NoCap Deposits ("the app") helps Shopify merchants collect deposits and track outstanding balances. This policy explains what data the app handles and why.

Data we collect

• Store information: your shop domain and an access token, required for the app to function.
• Order data: for orders paid with a deposit, we store the order number, amounts (total, deposit paid, balance due), balance due date, currency, and the customer's email address, so your dashboard can track outstanding balances.
• Deposit plan configuration: the plans you create (percentages, schedules, assigned products).

What we don't do

• We do not sell or share your data with third parties.
• We do not collect customer payment details. Payments are handled entirely by Shopify.
• We do not use advertising trackers or analytics cookies.

Where data lives

Data is stored on Railway (cloud hosting, US region) in an encrypted database. Transactional email (if you enable notifications) is sent via Resend.

Data deletion

We honor Shopify's GDPR webhooks automatically: customer redaction requests anonymize personal data on our records, and uninstalling the app deletes all stored shop data within 48 hours of Shopify's redaction notice. You can also request deletion any time at the contact below.
